Something Old

In a past life I had a blog, one that was seldom shared and never truly heard. Some of the writings from that Blog I have saved and will revisit on this new website, with extra insight.

"A little girl sat on a swing Soaring quickly up to the heavens before falling back to the Earth. Going back and forth in an endless pattern. Until she decided to fly to the sky without the aid of earthly creations. Her body lifted high off the swing before she began to fall. She should have hit the ground hard enough to hurt her dearly. She caught an angel and he held her high before setting her upon her back on the softness of the cradling Earth beneath her."

-LTA Soaring

When I initially posted this I had named it "Soaring".

The memories I have from my youngest years of childhood involve a swing set that made me feel as though I could touch the sky.

The feeling of wind gusting through my hair, eyes closed, imagination wide open.

These were the moments where I felt most free. I could be anywhere I wanted to, be anyone I wanted to be.

The possibilities were unending.

Even as I grow older I am reminded of the happiness that swinging on a swing set gave me. Some days I seek out that feeling of simple happiness. It isn't always easy to find, but it is extremely important to have.

Go out and find what brings you a simple sort of happiness.
